A remarkable stand-up comedian, movie star, producer and screenwriter Amy Schumer was welcomed in New York to her parents Sandy and Gordon. They used to run a furniture store that was very successful. Also, the celebrity has a sister Kim and a brother Jason, who are involved into the entertainment business too.
As a kid, Amy started dreaming of becoming a film performer and that’s why right after school, entered Towson University, where she studied theatre.
Her professional career began in 2004 when she became a resident of a comedy club called Gotham. Soon enough her talent was noticed by producers, who offered her to join Last Comic Standing.
