An internationally recognized movie star Chris Pine drew his first breath in Los Angeles, where he grew up with an older sister Katie. His mother Gwynne is a former actress, who turned into a psychotherapist, while the father Robert is a film performer.
While studying at school, a future star was passionate about languages and literature. In addition to that he also loved acting and that’s why often took part in school performances. After school, he entered the University of California that he successfully graduated with a bachelor’s degree in English. After that, Chris studied at the American Conservatory Theatre in San Francisco.
The actor’s path to prominence began from working in a theatre. However, in order to reach worldwide recognition he had to appear on a big screen and this is exactly what happened in 2003, when he featured in an episode of ER. A year later, he got a role in a melodrama The Princess Diaries 2: Royal Engagement. Yet, the main breakthrough in his career happened in 2006 when Pine starred in Smokin’ Aces. Throughout the celebrity’s career, he appeared in dozens of great TV projects. To name just a few: Star Trek, Horrible Bosses 2, Into the Woods, Wonder Woman and many others.
