Extraordinary beginning of a beautiful union
Colton Haynes is a famous film performer, who rose to prominence thanks to his unique appearance and good acting skills. Jeff Leatham is a celebrity florist and a writer. They confirmed they were dating in February 2017. However, it would be interesting to know that they had been set up a few years prior to that. Yet, they couldn’t meet because of hectic working schedules.
Their first meeting was at the airport when they were flying back to LA from Paris Fashion Week. In an interview to People magazine, Leatham shared that he saw an actor wearing sunglasses but didn’t know it was Haynes. Having seen his face, Jeff understood it was Colton, a guy he was supposed to meet and date a couple of years ago. So, he came up to him and sort of hit him with a Louis Vuitton bag, saying-hey, Colton! The movie star replied- oh hey, Jeff! And that’s actually how they fell in love with one another from the very first moment.
Luxurious wedding
Just one month after their meeting at the airport, the pair got engaged! In October 2017 they had a beautiful wedding officiated by Kris Jenner. They tied the knot in front of 120 guests at a ceremony that was held at a Palm Springs hotel.
When and why did the marriage go wrong?
Unfortunately, soon after the wedding, the couple started experiencing relationship issues. Haynes even unfollowed his-then-spouse on Instagram and dropped the word “husband” from the profile. Everything became clear when they filed for divorce in May 2018 just six months after their marriage. They both cited irreconcilable differences. In May 2018 they were already officially divorced.
