Bio
A talented Italian-born singer and songwriter, Damiano David was delivered in Rome to his parents Rosa and Daniele, who both work as flight attendants.
A future star attended the Liceo Linguistico Eugenio Montale in Rome, where he studied history, philosophy, English, Greek and Latin. However, he didn’t pass annual exams twice and so, dropped out after two years.
It would be interesting to know that he started singing at the age of just 6 and while at high school, met his bandmates Thomas Raggi and Victoria De Angelis. In 2016 the band Maneskin was formed and a year later they took part in the 11th season of a popular show The X Factor, where they came second. In 2018 the group presented the first studio album called Il Ballo della Vita and in 2021 presented Italy at Eurovision in Rotterdam with a song Zitti e Buoni. They won Eurovision and thus, became popular among millions of people all over the world. That same year they also released the second studio album titled Teatro d’Ira: Vol.1 that got platinum status.
