Grimes

If you like music then Grimes is one of those musicians who will stay in your heart for a long time. She is a singer with a magic and “cosmic” voice and her songs are the music of the future. Atypical mixture of different styles and directions made her a unique phenomenon in the show-business world.

She was born in Vancouver and studied in a catholic school after which she entered McGill University in Montreal. She has always been interested in science as well as literature and art. That’s why she has chosen a neurobiology faculty. Being a student, she also got passionate about music and even used to perform in various clubs as a DJ, compiling hip-hop with other music styles.

In 2010 the celebrity released two albums that didn’t bring her any fame. However, she attracted the attention of other performers and musical critics that underlined her voice, artistry and of course, originality.

In 2011 a young starlet left the University as music was taking all her time and she went on a tour with an indie-artist Li Lykke. In 2012 she presented the third album called Vision that was positively accepted by the public. It helped her to go on a tour all around Europe and Asia, gathering millions of fans.

Apart from music, Grimes is also known as a painter, who is inspired by anime and manga.
