First attempt
A worldwide-known singer and film star Jennifer Lopez and a gifted singer-songwriter Marc Anthony first met in 1998 while he was performing on Broadway in a musical The Capeman. According to some reliable sources, the celebrities briefly dated after that but nothing serious came out of it.
Second attempt and a surprising wedding
As per the People magazine, the artists got married in June 2004, in a secret ceremony that was held at Lopez’s home in Beverly Hills. It would be interesting to know that the two lovebirds had been dating for only half a year before tying the knot officially.
Of course, none of the parties announced the wedding but very soon the public saw rings on their fingers and everything became clear.
Not only lovers
Apart from being a married couple, the celebrities often collaborated together. For instance, in 2005 they performed as a duet at Grammy Awards and in 2007 featured in a movie El Cantante and then toured together around the US.
Becoming parents
In February 2008 the celebrities welcomed their twins Emme and Max, whom they love to the moon and back.
Separation and divorce
In 2011 Jennifer announced of their separation and that same year began seeing Casper Smart, which most probably made Anthony file for a divorce in 2012. In 2014 the divorce was finalized with Lopez getting primary custody of their two children.
Professional reunion
The pair keeps not only co-parenting their twins but also collaborate. They performed together at a campaign for Hillary Clinton in 2016 and in 2017 shared a kiss at the Latin Grammy. Many people thought that they got back together but both singers denied the rumors.
