A remarkable singer-songwriter Leigh-Anne Pinnock became the fourth and the youngest child to her parents Deborah and John. Her mother works as a teacher at school and her father is a mechanic by profession.
While studying at school, she got passionate about singing and used to take part in all singing competitions she only could. In addition to that, at the age of 11, she also enrolled at the Sylvia Young Theatre School.
Her path to prominence began from an audition on The X Factor, where she sang Only Girl by Rihanna. The judges were really surprised with her vocal skills and that’s why sent her to the bootcamp, where she unfortunately failed as a solo artist. Nonetheless, she was offered to become a part of a group Orion that included two other girls. When the band got eliminated, Pinnock got a chance to join another girl group called Little Mix that was formed right on the show. As a result, the group won and signed a contract with Syco Records.
The band has been performing since 2012 and up till present moment, regularly touring the globe and releasing albums as well as music videos.
