A talented rap artist Playboi Carti was born in Georgia, Atlanta. He dreamt of becoming a successful rapper from an early age and that’s why he often skipped classes at North Spring Charter school. Instead, he devoted all his time to music, basketball and work in the H & M store.

His first singles appeared in 2011 when he performed under the nickname Sir Cartier. A year later he changed it to Playboi Carti and moved to New York to pursue a music career professionally. There he got acquainted with ASAP Bari, who created a popular hip-hop group ASAP Mob. Within a short period of time he signed his first contract with Awful Records label and with its help released two singles called Fetti and Broke Boi that brought him fame and recognition. After that he changed the label and started working with AWGE that belongs to ASAP Mob. It helped the rapper to collaborate with other well-known artists, including UnoTheActivist, Lil Uzi Vert, Gucci Mane, Dreezy and many others.

In 2017 the celebrity introduced a mixtape that got the attention of millions of people across the globe and in 2020 he presented an album Whole Lotta Red.
