A widely-known movie star Russell Crowe saw the light in the capital of New Zealand, Wellington. At the age of 4 he moved with the family to Sydney, where a year later he featured in an episode of TV series Spyforce.
In 1978 the family moved back to New Zealand, where Russell kept his education. However, he always wanted to help the family financially and that’s why left school and organized a band Russ Le Roc. The songs he wrote didn’t make him popular, yet he could make money performing at nightclubs. Later, he also created another group 30 Odd Foot Of Grunts that had been touring around Australia, Great Britain and America. Before disbanding in 2005, the group released 6 studio albums.
As for the celebrity’s acting career, it started in 1986 when he was given a role in a production of The Rocky Horror Show, where he appeared in 415 episodes. After that he featured in Neighbours, The Crossing, Blood Oath, Romper Stomper, etc. However, what really helped Crowe rise to stardom is his participation in LA Confidential.
