A remarkable movie star Sandra Bullock was welcomed in Virginia in a very creative family. Her mother Helga worked as an opera singer and her father John was a voice teacher. Also, the celebrity has a younger sister Gesine.

A future star often moved with parents from America to Europe due to mother’s concert tours. However, when she turned 12, the family finally settled down in the US.

After school, Sandra entered East Carolina University but left it to pursue an acting career.  In order to do so, she relocated to New York in a hope to work as a model or a flight attendant. Yet, to make the ends meet, she had to work as a waitress and bartender. While working in cheap bars, she made a decision to move to LA in search of greener pastures and it worked.

Her path in the moviemaking business started from TV series and in 1990 the celebrity got her first serious role in a feature film called Working Girl. After that she could be seen in Demolition Man, Speed, While You Were Sleeping and other films. Throughout Bullock’s career, she appeared in a great number of TV projects. The most well-known of which include: Miss Congeniality, Ocean’s 8, The Lake House, etc.
