A handsome model and film performer Taylor Kitsch drew his first breath in Canada, where he grew up with four siblings. His mother Susan worked at a factory and father Drew used to deal with a construction business.
It would be interesting to know that a future star never really had a goal to pursue a professional career in the moviemaking business. Instead, he was passionate about sports and hockey in particular. At the age of just 5 he was already a member of a junior ice hockey team Langley Hornets. However, despite all his great results, he had no chance to become a pro because of a knee injury that he got in 2002.
Kitsch didn’t give up, took nutrition courses and planned to help people train. At the same time he got an idea of becoming a model and for this even moved to New York. After some time he was finally noticed by leading modeling companies, yet his salary left much to be desired. That’s why Taylor moved to LA to try his hand in acting.
After multiple auditions, he finally got the first roles in such projects as Friday Night Lights, John Tucker Must Die, Snakes on a Plane, etc. The main breakthrough in his career happened in 2009 when he featured in X-Men Origins: Wolverine. His other successful works include: John Carter, Lone Survivor, American Assassin, 21 Bridges and many others.
