An internationally known plus-size model, a make-up artist, a blogger and an author – yes, it is all about her, Tess Holliday.
It would be interesting to know that despite her body measurements, she started dreaming of becoming a part of the fashion world as a kid. And eventually her dream did come true!
As a teen she went with her mother to Atlanta for her first modeling casting but was denied any opportunity because of her height and weight. Yet, she didn’t give up and soon was offered to take part in a photo shoot for plus-size women and she agreed. After that she sent her portfolio to many agencies and was waiting for at least any outcome. In 2011 she was noticed by A &E channel that invited her to participate in a reality-show called Heavy. Right after that her professional career boomed. She was piled up with offers from various brands, appeared on the cover of Vogue and in 2015 signed a contract with MiLK Model Management.
Apart from that, Tess is also a published author. In 2017 she introduced a book titled The Not So Subtle Art of Being A Fat Girl: Loving the Skin You’re In.
