Bio
A gifted writer, musician, songwriter, comedian and film performer, Tim Minchin drew his first breath in a family of doctors in England. However, after some time he relocated with parents to Australia, where he started attending school. After that he entered the UWA, where he successfully graduated with a degree in English and Theatre. In addition to that he also studied contemporary music at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts.
In 1998 Tim began writing music for documentaries as well as feature films. Four years later he managed to write and play in his musical called Pop. Nowadays, he performs not only in his native Australia but also America.
As for his path in the filmmaking business, he debuted on a big screen in 2008 in a drama film Two Fists, One Heart. After that he starred in about 12 TV projects, the most recognized of which are: Californication, Upright, Squinters, etc. Finally, he also voiced characters in Back to the Outback and Peter Rabbit 2: The Runaway.
