Perhaps, there wouldn’t be even one person who didn’t know a gifted and handsome film performer Orlando Bloom.
A future star was delivered in Canterbury. His mother is originally of Calcutta, who ran her own language school for foreigners. The father is from South Africa, who moved to England and worked as a professor at the University. Also, the actor has an older sister Samantha.
Orlando started demonstrating his interest in theatre and languages at a young age. Being a schoolboy, he used to play in amateur performances and at 16 went to London to act in a National Youth Theatre. That’s when and how he made a final decision to pursue an acting career.
As many other celebrities, he debuted on a big screen with a bit role in a TV series called Accident in 1996. The main breakthrough happened when he featured in The Lord of the Rings after which he became an overnight success and a Hollywood new star. After that, Bloom appeared in such great TV projects as Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl, Troy, Love and Other Disasters and dozens of others.
Today, Bloom is a worldwide known star who keeps starring in various films, hence pleasing millions of his fans across the globe.
