Violetta Komyshan

A famous ballerina with Ukrainian roots, Violetta Komyshan is known all over the world thanks to her exceptional skills and talent. It would be also interesting to know that her fame boomed when she got romantically involved with an uprising Hollywood film performer Ansel Elgort.

Violetta was welcomed in Toronto but then moved with parents to New York. While studying at a public elementary school, a popular choreographer made auditions right at her school and that’s when a future dancer fell in love with classical ballet. She began attending Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts, where she majored in dance. Not only did she learn classical ballet but also modern dance.

Speaking of her professional path, she first worked for a company called BalletNext that produces and performs new choreography. Nowadays, she is busy with a show The Master and Form that takes place in a museum. It is a performance of 10 dancers that dance in a cage-like structure with hanging ropes. Its main idea is to demonstrate discipline that is meant by the word “ballet”.

Apart from that, Komyshan is also very active on social networks and Instagram in particular. She can boast of having over 1.000.000 followers. There, she works with such well-known brands as Forevermark Diamonds, Tods and many others.
